This disk contains three Solitaire card games, which are not the usual ones
that most people play. To access them, just type the filename of the one you
would like to play and hit the ENTER key.
1) BLOCK11 This game requires that you pair up INDEX cards
to total eleven. There are no PICTURE cards in
the deck, but in their stead there are 12 BLOCK
cards. The computer deals out three rows of cards
with four cards in each row, forming 12 piles.
The game is won if all the cards are used before
all the twelve piles are blocked. There are two
versions of the game. In the hard version, the
chances of winning are 1 in 50, and the easy
version are 1 in 3.
2) EVEN-OUT In this game, a stripped deck of cards is used,
which means that all the PICTURE cards have been
removed, leaving just forty cards to play with.
This is a fast, fun game, requiring only that
you have the ability to add up to twenty. The
chances of winning are 1 in 5.
3) ELEVENS This game uses a full deck of cards which the
computer deals out in three rows of three cards
each. The object is to pair up the INDEX cards
to total eleven, and the PICTURE cards into
groups of three (Jack, Queen, and King). The
chances of winning are 1 in 4.
If you enjoy these games, or even just one of them, you are invited to send
$5.00, to the following address. While you are under no obligation to do so,
your thoughtfulness would be greatly appreciated.
